Cabo Ledo (deutsch: Fröhliches Kap) ist eine Bucht und eine Gemeinde in der Provinz Icolo e Bengo, 120 km südlich von Luanda am Rand des Quiçama Nationalparks gelegen. Der Strand Praia dos Surfistas am Fuße des Kaps gilt als einer der besten Surfspots in Angola.cite-ref-1[1]cite-ref-2[2] Es haben sich mehrere Ökotourismus-Resorts angesiedelt.cite-ref-3[3] Cabo Ledo ist über die Nationalstraße EN100 erreichbar. Der Ort verfügt über einen kleinen Flughafen, ein ehemaliger kubanischer Militärflugplatz, mit einer Landebahn von 2996 m. Hier landeten 2001–2002 die Frachtflüge der Aktion „Noahs Arche“ mit Wildtieren aus Botswana und Südafrika für die Revitalisierung des Nationalparks.cite-ref-4[4]cite-ref-5[5]

Die Bucht von Cabo Ledo ist auch von historischer Bedeutung. Im Jahr 1645 ging hier der Gouverneur von Rio de Janeiro, Francisco de Soutomaior, mit seiner Flotte aus Brasilien vor Anker, um die Holländer aus Luanda zu vertreiben.cite-ref-6[6]
